IDC 2022 is your opportunity to learn from some of the leading minds in our profession. Events like this are how you make connections that last a lifetime and change your perception of what's possible. 

Ticket prices are structured to provide an accessible price point for as many in our community as possible. IDSA members receive the deepest discount on this and many other events throughout the year.

Join us Monday, September 12 at 6:30pm Pacific US as we announce the Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners of IDEA 2022.

The International Design Excellence Awards recognize products and services that encourage, inspire, and push our industry forward. We honor great design that brings real and lasting benefit to users, clients, and society. 

Formal wear is highly encouraged.

The IDEA Ceremony and Gala is included with in-person full conference tickets and/or Day 1 single day tickets.

WHY DOES IT COST MONEY TO ATTEND IDC?

Putting together a high-quality event takes considerable preparation and resources. This is true of both in-person and virtual events. The IDC team (made up of volunteers and full-time paid staff) has been working on this event for nearly a year leading up to now. Any proceeds generated by this event are directly re-invested in current and future IDSA programming, as well as off-setting costs associated with this event. We are endlessly grateful for your support!

Prices will increase as we get closer to the event dates. Don't delay. Secure your ticket at the lowest rate possible by purchasing soon.

When purchasing your IDC 2022 ticket, you also have the option to add on a small, tax-deductible donation to support Design Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit providing educational opportunities for the advancement of the industrial design profession. Your donation helps the Design Foundation deliver free IDC registration to underrepresented and economically disadvantaged individuals through the Event Access Program.

A limited number of media passes are available for qualified outlets.

THE FINE PRINT

​​

• Tickets will be sold up to and during the dates of the event.
   

• The Virtual Group Watch Party Ticket will entitle your group of any size to access the full IDC 2022, including all the recordings after the live event happens. 
   

• Links to access virtual content will be emailed to ticket holders shortly before the event begins. Be sure to check your spam or junk filters if you are not receiving our event updates. They will go to the email address you or your party used to register.
   

• Everything that happens on the main stage (IDC, Education Symposium, and Awards Ceremonies) will be recorded and emailed to ticket holders after the live event takes place.

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

In-Person Registrants: 

​

• Cancellations of full conference tickets prior to July 15, 2022 are eligible for a full refund, minus a 15% admin fee. Cancellations received between July 16 and August 15 are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations received after August 16 are not eligible for a refund.
   

• If a full conference registrant cancels after August 16, 2022, the following options are available: (1) The ticket may be transferred to another person, OR (2) The ticket may be transferred for you to attend IDC 2023. If you are unable to attend the 2023 IDC event, the full amount will be forfeited.
   

• There will be no refunds or transfers for cancellation of single day tickets or IDEA Ceremony & Gala tickets. 
   

Virtual Registrants:
 

• There will be no refunds or transfers for cancellation of a virtual ticket. All virtual attendees will receive a link to watch the videos at their convenience.
