Health & Safety

Your well-being is IDSA’s top priority. All in-person attendees, speakers, and vendors will be asked to review and sign / agree to the COVID-19 Event Policy and Guidelines, Attendee Waiver and Release, and show proof of vaccination (verified with Crowdpass) prior to the event.

The following policy will be in place for IDC 2022 to protect your health and peace of mind so you can focus on getting the most out of your conference experience:

  • All in-person staff, attendees, speakers, and vendors will be required to provide proof of current vaccination, or a recent negative COVID-19 test result (within 72 hours of the event date) in order to enter the venue. Only vaccination cards that show full vaccination no later than September 2, 2022 will be accepted. Proof of vaccination should include the recommended full dosage and booster (2 of Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna with booster or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 with booster). An independent, third-party health screening service called Crowdpass will be used to verify vaccination or testing status.

  • Masks are optional while indoors for all staff, attendees, speakers and vendors, and/or as otherwise required by applicable law and guidance.

  • Sanitation stations will be set up throughout the venue.

  • Unvaccinated individuals may participate by showing a negative COVID-19 test result obtained within 72 hours of the event date (verified with Crowdpass) or by attending virtually.

  • If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or are feeling ill, or if you have recently been exposed to someone who has COVID-19, you should not attend the event and promptly consult your health care professional.

By registering for this IDSA event, you agree to carefully review and, during the event and all event-related activities, comply with all applicable COVID-19-related federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance and with any other protocols that may be implemented by IDSA or the event venue.

You acknowledge that IDSA cannot guarantee that attendees will not be exposed to or contract COVID-19 while attending the event, and that by attending they may be exposing or increasing their risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.

You understand that IDSA will continue to closely monitor conditions related to COVID-19 between now and the start of the event and that IDSA reserves the right to modify its COVID-19 related procedures and health screening protocols in its sole discretion at any time. Registrants will be informed of any such changes on an ongoing basis and any such changes will be posted on the IDSA website page related to the event. As a condition of attendance and participation, you agree to follow the protocols as required by IDSA and/or the event venue. Refusal to abide by IDSA’s COVID-19 related procedures may result in removal from the event and cancellation of your registration, without refund.

Your adherence to this policy and guidelines is greatly appreciated.  â€‹
