The Education Symposium, led by the IDSA Education Council, brings together educators, students, and practitioners to explore ideas at the intersection of education and practice. Open to all IDC attendees, it has become a space for sharing research, strategies, and approaches to strengthen design education. Yet many members are unaware of its purpose or how it might evolve to serve the community more effectively. This Town Hall is a chance to reset and reimagine the Symposium’s future. Using guided prompts, participants will share perspectives on what to keep, what to change, and what new opportunities to add, creating a shared foundation for a more relevant, inclusive, and impactful program.
