Gary Shigeru Natsume, Senior Vice President of Design at Magic Leap, has been instrumental in shaping the industrial design of Magic Leap AR devices since 2013. His emphasis on product family development and a multi-disciplinary design approach has yielded award-winning products, recognized by prestigious entities like iF, Red Dot, Good Design, TIME Magazine, and the IDSA Awards.

Previously, Gary held key roles as Vice President and Director of Design/Research at ECCO Design, Senior Industrial Designer at Frog Design, and Professor of Design at the Pratt Institute and ITP, Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. Gary's educational journey includes the Cranbrook Academy of Art, Parsons School of Design, and the Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Art and Music in Japan.
