Deshui Yu graduated from Shanghai Maritime University with a background in industrial design in 2019. He is currently international student in the Sports Product Design Program at the University of Oregon. Deshui has a great passion for sketching and footwear design, and becoming a footwear designer is his ultimate goal. Being born and raised in China, Deshui is excited to see the multicultural atmosphere in American design schools and has been trying to apply Chinese philosophy and aesthetics to modern design to see more possibilities in traditional culture.
