David Edquilang, IDSA

University of Houston

David is a 4th year industrial design student studying at the University of Houston. Prior to David's industrial design education, he's had experience studying in both the engineering and medical fields. Leveraging that knowledge, he has an interest in electronics and healthcare design; although he is comfortable designing absolutely anything. What drives David in design is how much he enjoys the process and being able to create real solutions to solve real problems. Through design, David actively seeks to help people with the problems they face in their lives, making use of his efforts, skills, and ideas.

For 60 years, the Industrial Designers Society of America has worked to advance the practice of industrial design through education, information, community, and advocacy. Our roots stretch to the beginning of the profession, and our members are, and have been, some of the most celebrated industrial designers of all time. Today, we exist as a global voice for industrial design within a broad ecosystem of design disciplines and we celebrate the cross-functional overlap of many creative fields.
