Tati Ferrucio, IDSA

Tati is an industrial designer who creates clever products and experiences that are affordable, fun, and environmentally responsible. Born in Rio and currently working in NYC, she has three years of experience working with design and innovation in Brazil and the United States. Throughout her career, Tati has designed for a wide range of markets such as toys, urban furniture, and home appliances. This exposure empowers her to push the limits regarding design, manufacturing, and sustainability in corporate and consultancy environments. As a proud Brazilian designer, Tati believes design has to be addressed by multi-cultural and sustainable lenses. As a core part of her work, she intends to solve complexity to deliver simplicity - design is about questioning today to create a more equal and sustainable future.

For 59 years, the Industrial Designers Society of America has worked to advance the practice of industrial design through education, information, community, and advocacy. Our roots stretch to the beginning of the profession, and our members are, and have been, some of the most celebrated industrial designers of all time. Today, we exist as a global voice for industrial design within a broad ecosystem of design disciplines and we celebrate the cross-functional overlap of many creative fields.
