Before founding Madeium, Jesse pioneered technologies and new design tools in additive manufacturing and 3D printing at Adidas. As Design Director of Adidas Skateboarding, Snowboarding, Basketball and Footwear Innovation, Jesse designed athlete and celebrity brands and product collections for James Harden, Pharrell, Damian Lillard, Kanye, Mark Gonzales, Daniel Patrick, Donovan Mitchell and other premier talent.

When Jesse Rademacher set out to design a company for 2035, he realized it isn’t a company at all, but public, collectively shared spaces that will shape the industry’s future. After 15 years in the design industry himself and interviewing over 300 creatives, he put his finger on the Design Industry’s dark secret: Only about 20% of creativity is utilized in the current corporate patronage model. Through Madeium, Jesse has built an innovation system to harness the lost 80% and unleash a new Creative Renaissance.

Jesse will demonstrate how individual pain amounts to a macro disease running rampant through our profession, leaving designers unfulfilled. But don’t worry, he will also demonstrate how this moment, ripe with convergences of technology, is the exact moment we creatives must use to assert our visions of a more just future.
