Ilene Shaw has devoted her career to the advocacy of good design. She is an innovator in her industry, helming the branding and execution of multimillion-dollar international conferences, curated exhibitions, awards and educational programs, showcasing notable design, designers and artists. Shaw is the founding producer of Design Pavilion, an experiential public exhibition of design for millions of visitors annually, and Design Talks, an inspired series offering thought leadership by insightful design minds. Shaw can be seen as a series regular presenter and judge on the TV series “America by Design” on CBS nationwide.

Shaw conceived of and co-developed the ICFF: International Contemporary Furniture Fair, co-developed and guided Accent on Design, and curated NY NOW’s green initiative, Sustainability: Design for a Better World. She is a Trustee on the NYCxDESIGN Board of Advisors and a founding member of its Steering Committee. Shaw also serves as a senior advisor to CODAworx and spearheaded its international CODAawards.
