Virtual Studio Tour: Loft

Welcome to the Loft studio in Providence, RI. Nestled in the historic Jewelry district, with murals by local artists and a wall full of skateboards, the space teems with creativity to inspire a diverse team of designers and engineers. We’re passionate about making things that make change, and we do it all with an attitude of curiosity and deep respect for the user.

Jeanette Numbers, cofounder of Loft and IDC speaker, will walk you through the studio and take you on a tour of our most recent project - COVID testing trailers. The trailers keep healthcare workers safe and bring testing on the road, directly where it's needed. After the tour, we'll take live questions from the audience in an interactive Q&A session.

Virtual Studio Tour: Google

Take a peek behind the scenes at our Mountain View studio headquarters, where a mix of creative and technical minds envision a future Made by Google. We strive to be masters of form and function while creating experiences that are human, optimistic, and bold.

Google Designers will show you around our Materials Library, a physical space that serves as a central repository for material samples and a resource for research and inspiration. We'll then walk through a few of our recently launched products from our Hardware portfolio, before taking live text-based questions from the audience.

This session has ended. Thanks for joining! Sorry, no video was allowed during this session.
