IDEA Ceremony & Gala
Join us Wednesday, August 23 at 6:30pm Eastern US as we announce the Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners of IDEA 2023.
The International Design Excellence Awards recognize products and services that encourage, inspire, and push our industry forward. We honor great design that brings real and lasting benefit to users, clients, and society.
Formal wear is highly encouraged.
The IDEA Ceremony and Gala is included with in-person full conference tickets and Day 1 single day tickets.
Complimentary Tickets
Event Access offers design students (at four-year colleges or universities) who are underrepresented in industrial design with complementary admission to events produced by IDSA.
Students must apply (link below) to be considered.
A limited number of virtual tickets are available for IDC 2023.
WHY DOES IT COST MONEY TO ATTEND IDC?
Putting together a high-quality event takes considerable preparation and resources. This is true of both in-person and virtual events. The IDC team (made up of volunteers and full-time paid staff) has been working on this event for nearly a year leading up to now. Any proceeds generated by this event are directly re-invested in current and future IDSA programming, as well as off-setting costs associated with this event. We are endlessly grateful for your support!
Prices will increase as we get closer to the event dates. Don't delay. Secure your ticket at the lowest rate possible by purchasing soon.
When purchasing your IDC 2023 ticket, you also have the option to add on a small, tax-deductible donation to support Design Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit providing educational opportunities for the advancement of the industrial design profession. Your donation helps the Design Foundation deliver free IDC registration to underrepresented and economically disadvantaged individuals through the Event Access Program.
THE FINE PRINT

Tickets will be sold up to and during the dates of the event.

The Virtual Group Watch Party Ticket will entitle your group of any size to access the full IDC 2023, including all the recordings after the live event happens.

Links to access virtual content will be emailed to ticket holders shortly before the event begins. Be sure to check your spam or junk filters if you are not receiving our event updates. They will go to the email address you or your party used to register.

Event Recordings - Everything that happens on the main stage (IDC, Education Symposium, and Awards Ceremonies) will be recorded. Event recordings will be available within 14 days of the event and are accessible to IDC ticket holders for 45 days of unlimited access.
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
In-Person Registrants:

Cancellations prior to July 6 are eligible for a full refund, minus a 15% admin. fee. Cancellations received between July 6 and August 1 are eligible for a 50% refund plus a 15% admin. fee. Due to guarantees IDSA must make to the host venue, cancellations received after August 1 are not eligible for a refund.

There will be no refunds or transfers for cancellation of single day tickets or IDEA Ceremony & Gala tickets.
Virtual Registrants:

There will be no refunds or transfers for cancellation of a virtual ticket. All virtual attendees will receive a link to watch the videos at their convenience.
